Reserva and Gran Reserva

Reserva and Gran Reserva are two concepts introduced by Habanos S.A. in 2003 and 2009 respectively.
Tobacco used for rolling Reserva cigars must be aged in bales of specially selected leaves from Vuelta Abajo for a minimum of 3 years. Those cigars are presented in numbered 5000 lacquered boxes containing 20 Habanos and are released every second year.
Gran Reserva cigars are rolled using specially selected tobacco leaves from the finest farms in Vuelta Abajo which are aged for a minimum of 5 years in bales before being rolled.
Those cigars are presented in numbered 5000 lacquered boxes of 15 cigars and are released every second year.
